Interim Head of Marketing
My Approach: Lead with Philosophy, Execute with Precision
- Passionate about storytelling, fandom, and the timeless ideals of Wuxia
- Honored to amplify a mission that inspires heroism through modern myth
- Built immersive narrative bridges between ancient wisdom and today's heroes
- Architected transmedia strategy integrating AI & Web3 for real fan benefit
- Proud to have cultivated a movement where fans are the heroes of their own journeys
Principles I Refused to Compromise On
I knew the Wuxia community would reject anything that felt extractive. So I locked in three rules from day one: core comics stay free, no exceptions. Any AI-assisted art gets a clear watermark and a “Human Final Edit” badge. And Web3 is always opt-out—fans can buy bundles with a credit card and never touch a wallet. These guardrails built the trust that made everything else possible.
How I Designed Growth to Fund Itself
Startups often burn cash chasing virality. I architected a different path: each phase of the funnel feeds the next. Viral short-form content drives audiences to long-form YouTube and podcasts. That engaged audience converts into our Discord and email community. Bundle pre-sales from that community fund the next game or animated short. It’s a profit loop—community literally funds its own future.
The Insights That Shaped Everything

Heritage Seekers and Culture Curious demand cultural integrity. I made it the foundation.

Superfan Collectors and Anime Graduates will pay for content that respects their passion.

Community isn't a channel. It's the product. Our affiliates and UGC replaced ad spend.
I designed a system to test new IP through short-form content and lore drops, using AI-driven sentiment analysis to gauge real fan resonance before committing major production resources. TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts became our proving ground.
I championed a human-first AI workflow. Our Story Oracle assists writers; AI generates concept art for rapid iteration. But every piece of published art carries a “Human Final Edit” badge. Fan crowdfunding fuels production, with smart contracts silently tracking attribution.
Distribution is where the story meets the world. I built campaign frameworks using AI-optimized targeting and personalized content drops. Web3 rewards—digital collectibles, VIP access—are delivered frictionlessly. No crypto jargon. Just tap, claim, and enjoy.
I mapped and executed a full-funnel strategy: 10M+ monthly reach on TikTok (Awareness), 250K engaged viewers on YouTube/Podcasts (Interest), 50K core community on Discord/Email (Desire), targeting $2M+ annual revenue from merch, games, and subscriptions (Action).
I defined five distinct audience segments—Heritage Seekers, Anime Graduates, Power Gamers, Culture Curious, Superfan Collectors—each with unique platform preferences, content desires, and monetization paths. No more one-size-fits-all marketing.
I established three non-negotiable principles: Core comics remain free. AI-assisted art is watermarked and human-verified. All Web3 features are opt-out—buy with a credit card, and if you ever want to mint an NFT later, the option is there. Trust first.
I put fans at the center of everything. Instead of treating them as a target audience, I positioned them as co-creators and heroes of their own journeys. Their creativity, cosplay, fan art, and lore discussions became the engine of our organic growth.
I architected transmedia experiences that bridge ancient Wuxia wisdom with modern heroism. Every touchpoint—from a TikTok short to a Discord deep-dive—was designed to pull fans deeper into a living story world, not just promote a product.
I inherited a rich content library and built the long-term roadmap to monetize it. This meant designing an AIDA funnel that moves fans from discovery to purchase, integrating AI tools and frictionless Web3 mechanics—all without alienating non-technical audiences.
